Jason Douglas Crabb was born on March 3, , in Beaver Dam, Kentucky to Gerald and Terri Crabb. At the age of 13, Jason's parents divorced and he went a little wild. A year later, he hit the road with his family, (dad Gerald and step-mom Kathy Crabb), and his siblings, twins Adam and Aaron, and sisters Kelly and Terah. They went on to become one of the most beloved Southern Gospel groups of all times with 16 #1 hits, 11 Dove Awards, and three Grammy nods. The Crabb Family retired in , with Jason on lead, but occasionally they do reunion concerts.
Jason signed a solo deal in and his first album started his path to crossing over from just Southern Gospel to country and CCM. A move to Reunion Records saw his first release with them in and music critics are lovin' the new sound.
