Jag är chef på forskningsinfrastrukturen Medicinsk teknik-FoU vid Norrlands universitetssjukhus men även docent i medicinteknik vid Umeå universitet. Min forskning har bl.a. fokuserat mot sensorutveckling för ffa analyser av ögats biomekaniska egenskaper relaterat till sjukdom och behandling men även varit med om att utveckla och utvärdera mätsystem för distanssjukvård inom både slutenvård och öppenvård. Sedan har jag haft ett lektorat vid Umeå universitetet med uppdrag som programansvarig, studierektor och prefekt. Jag har även ett stort engagemang i Centrum för medicinsk teknik och fysik, CMTF som knyter samman den medicintekniska forsknings- och utvecklingskompetensen i norra Sverige.
Undervisningen har ffa fokuserats mot elkraft och elektriska maskiner.

Los Angeles-bräderna har drabbat även den svenske Oscarsvinnaren Per Hallberg – vars hus har brunnit ned.
– Jag blev av med mitt hus bara för tre dagar sedan, säger han till TT.

Per Hallberg tillhör de allra största inom ljuddesign i Hollywood och är i Sverige för att bland annat firas på Guldbaggegalan, där han är en av prisutdelarna.
Medan han varit i Sverige kom beskedet att hans hem brunnit ned. Hallberg har själv inte varit hemma än och sett förödelsen med egna ögon.
– Nej, jag har varit på Öland. Och det var ingen som kunde ta sig upp till huset. Så jag visste ju inte på ett tag hur det såg ut. Men nu har jag sett både film och bilder och det finns ingenting kvar.
– Det är tomt.
Tre Oscar
Tre gånger har Per Hallberg fått en Oscar, för ”Braveheart”, ”The Bourne ultimatum” och Bondfilmen ”Skyfall”. I 40 år har han bott i Los Angeles.
Nu är allt borta.
– Det är ju rätt hopplöst givetvis. För det är ju mycket sånt där man tänker på som man har förlorat, som har ett värde som är svårt
