Job Responsibilities: Gary is responsible for generating major philanthropic gifts in support of our student-athletes and Auburn Athletics.
Past Experience: Gary came to Auburn after serving as the Membership Director for the Alabama Poultry & Egg Association in Montgomery, AL, where he coordinated the membership efforts and the association annual fund-raiser, which generated about $, for the association. He then came to Auburn University with the College of Agriculture as Director of Development in April After nearly ten years with the College of Agriculture, Gary joined the Tigers Unlimited staff in , where he is currently.
Personal: A native of Crossville, Ala., Gary has three children – Gaston (20), Gabby (18) and Griffin (14).

Professional & Educational Experience
Prior to obtaining his master&#;s and PhD, the New York native attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia where he received his bachelor&#;s degree in Kinesiology, Sport Studies, and Physical Education. Outside of the classroom and laboratory, Dr. Christopher Wilburn acts as a major advocate for social justice, diversity, and inclusive initiatives. Specifically, Dr. Wilburn is an academic liaison between Auburn University and their Historically Black Colleges and Universities partners, member of the American Society of Biomechanics Diversity Committee, member and outreach co-leader for the Black Biomechanists Association, member and social media team member for the Latinx in Biomechanics Group, and ally to the International Women in Biomechanics Group.

Dr. Christopher Burton is a geographer interested in the application of geospatial analysis and modeling techniques to human-environmental interactions. Dr. Burton's interests include the development of methods and metrics that are needed to evaluate baseline conditions for natural hazards vulnerability and resilience to better understand the potential for differential hazard impacts and the ability of populations to recover from damaging hazard events. Dr. Burton&#;s methods include spatial analysis, data mining, GIS-based modeling, and the integration of quantitative and qualitative analysis.&#;His academic appointment is part of Auburn&#;s interdisciplinary cluster program in&#;Climate,&#;Human
